Government agrees to pay one-off assistance to pensioners

The government of the Republic of Serbia at today's session adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Real Estate Brokering and Leasing.

The adoption of these legal solutions will improve the legal framework for detecting, preventing and combating money laundering and terrorist financing and terrorist acts in the field of real estate brokering and leasing.

This ensures a higher level of legal certainty for both business entities and citizens, as well as a higher quality of services by European standards, while the Republic of Serbia thus fulfills its international obligations.

The government of Serbia gave approval to the Republican Pension and Disability Insurance Fund for the payment of financial assistance in the amount of RSD 5,000 to pension beneficiaries, beneficiaries of temporary benefit and disabled children, which is planned for 4 November 2019.

Under the national drug policy, which includes drug precursors and/or substances used in illicit drug production, the Government has decided to establish a Precursor Commission and a Commission to control the precursor destruction process.

At the session, the Programme for Dissemination of Knowledge in the Field of Digital Transformation was adopted.

Expert and technical work will support the implementation of eGovernment, and thus enhance political and economic cooperation with other countries.

This involves exchanging information to determine the knowledge and level of development of digital transformation, as well as consulting on all relevant issues and challenges in supporting the development of eGovernment, so that this specific cooperation and knowledge transfer is in line with the needs of partner countries.

At the same time, digitalization and e-government are important in the area of strengthening the rule of law, since they significantly reduce the possibility of corrupt practices and thus significantly contribute to the fight against corruption.
