First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today during the talks with Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya Justin Muturi that the relations between the two countries are characterised by traditional friendship.

Numerous opportunities for strengthening cooperation with Kenya

During the talks it was noted that there is a mutual wish to develop relations between the peoples of Serbia and Kenya and to intensify cooperation in all areas.
They pointed out that there are many opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of the economy and to that end, a special stimulus should be given to the businessmen of the two countries.
Dacic expressed gratitude on the support that Kenya gives to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
Muturi pointed to excellent and traditionally friendly relations between Kenya and Serbia and confirmed the continuation of support of this country to Serbia regarding the Kosovo-Metohija issue at the bilateral and multilateral level.
