First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Yuri Borisov, as part of the visit of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Dacic and Borisov discussed upcoming activities and sessions within the Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, of which they are co-chairs. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the development of cooperation within the Committee.
Dacic informed Borisov, who expressed interest in the developments in Kosovo-Metohija, about the situation there after the recent elections, as well as about the prospects for the continuation of dialogue.
Dacic once again expressed his gratitude to the Russian Federation for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, as well as for supporting the resolution of the Kosovo-Metohija issue through dialogue.
