Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica congratulated today the Serbia-Montenegrin under-19 (U19) women’s national basketball team on winning the silver medal at the U19 Women’s World Basketball Championship.
“By winning the silver medal at the World Basketball Championship in Tunisia, you have achieved exceptional success and have assured us that we will also rejoice in the future when welcoming you after winning valuable awards in sporting competitions.
“On behalf of the Serbian government and on my personal behalf, I congratulate you on your outstanding success”, reads Kostunica’s letter of congratulations.
