Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic spoke in Chile with the heads of delegation of the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Moldova on the sidelines of the 88th Interpol General Assembly.
Stefanovic discussed with Head of the Spanish delegation Carlos Vasquez Ara and Moldova's Eugenii Petreski the withdrawal of the application of the so-called Kosovo for admission to Interpol.
According to Stefanovic, this victory of Serbia and international law has preserved the reputation of the oldest international police organization.
He expressed his gratitude to Spain and Moldova for their principled support for our country's request regarding the application of the so-called Kosovo for admission to Interpol, expressing his satisfaction that both countries will continue to cooperate closely with Serbia on this issue.
Stefanovic and Ara also discussed the continuation of cooperation between the Serbian and Spanish police in the fight against drug trafficking, which, they agreed, has so far had concrete results in the seizure of large quantities of cocaine.
During the meeting with Petreski, they discussed the possibility of strengthening cooperation in the field of internal affairs in order to increase the capacity of the police forces of the two countries.
