First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said today at the opening of a new KubekhazA-Raba border crossing between Serbia and Hungary that the crossing will contribute to the flow of goods and people, improve cross-border cooperation and development of the region.

Dacic stressed that the political relations between the two countries are historically the best so far and that they are reaching a level of strategic partnership.
The fact that members of the Hungarian national minority who actively contribute to our development live in Serbia, and vice versa, is one of the most important bridges that unites us, Dacic emphasised, thanking Hungary for its strong support to Serbia in the process of European integration.
I am sure that the border crossing that we are opening today will strengthen the already existing and strong link between our peoples, but also be a recognizable symbol of already established cooperation and good neighborly relations, said the First Deputy Prime Minister.
