First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Minister-Counsellor of the US Embassy to Serbia Gabriel Escobar expressed readiness today for the continuation of constructive and dynamic political dialogue and of joint work on the improvement of cooperation between the two countries in all areas.

Escobar announced on this occasion that new US Ambassador to Serbia Anthony Godfrey will take office following the completion of internal procedures in the US Congress.
He also announced forthcoming visits to Belgrade by the White House Special Representative for the Dialogue of Belgrade and Pristina, Ambassador Richard Grenell and Western Balkans Special Envoy and US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Palmer.
