First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic had a brief meeting with French President Emanuel Macron as part of the general debate of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Dacic praised President Macron for his excellent speech during his recent visit to Serbia and conveyed to him that his visit was one of the best visits by a foreign official in our country's history.
President Macron, who was accompanied by his wife, Brigitte, replied that it was a special honour and a great pleasure.
Also, the French president said he was waiting for the Kosovo elections to be completed in order to get involved in solving problems in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, and at the end of the conversation sent greetings to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry.
