First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic will visit New York from 21 to 28 September as a member of our country's delegation which will participate in the General Debate of the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly.
Dacic will participate in the events that will bring together many world leaders, such as the Climate Change Summit hosted by the UN Secretary-General, the Venezuelan Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement and the High Level Meeting on the Global Call for Religious Freedom hosted by US President Donald Trump, with the aim of presenting the views of the Republic of Serbia on key issues of international importance and regarding Kosovo-Metohija.
On the sidelines of the General Debate, a series of events and meetings of regional initiatives will be held, which also envisage the participation of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia.
The most important among these are ministerial meetings of the Central European Initiative, the Organization for Black Sea Economic Cooperation, the Southeast European Cooperation Process, and a meeting hosted by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini for Western Balkans leaders, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
