First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic today received on a working visit Acting Head of the UN Office and Head of the Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Belgrade, Hans Friedrich Schodder, with his associates.

Schodder informed the Serbian side on the situation and development of national and regional programmes whose implementation in the Republic of Serbia is the responsibility of the UN and UNHCR.
Dacic expressed support for the work of the office and voiced hope that the assistance and support that UNHCR continuously provides to our competent authorities in relation to refugees from the former Yugoslavia residing in Serbia, as well as to 200,000 internally displaced persons from Kosovo-Metohija, will continue, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
