First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of France to Serbia Frederic Mondoloni.
Dacic expressed his gratitude to Mondoloni for his engagement, which significantly contributed to the improvement of the overall bilateral relations of the two countries and wished him success in both professional and personal terms.
He expressed his satisfaction over the continued progress of the cooperation that the two countries have achieved, as well as the expectation that such a trend will continue in the future.
It is a joint satisfaction with the very successful realization of the recent visit of French President Emanuel Macron to Serbia, which was held in an extremely friendly and warm atmosphere, with a high level of understanding about the most important issues of mutual interest.
In particular, the importance of concluding a large number of agreements in various fields, which will be given special attention in the coming period, is especially emphasised.
Ambassador Mondoloni said that it is possible to say that President Macron's visit has a historic significance and that it has set a strong foundation for further intensification of cooperation in the upcoming period, for which there is a strong interest and readiness on the French side.
He also expressed his special gratitude for the excellent cooperation he has had with the institutions of the Republic of Serbia in the preparation of this visit, as well as during his entire mandate, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
