President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and President of "HBIS Tangsteel" and "HBIS Group Serbia" Wang Lanyu laid the foundation stone for the plant worth $120 million.
The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure issued a building permit for the construction of the aforementioned facility in Smederevo.
Mihajlovic announced that investments in infrastructure development in Smederevo will continue, which is important for the functioning of the economy and new investments.
She said that the start of the construction of the Port of Smederevo was planned in March 2020 and added that works will be completed in August this year on the construction of a railway line that will connect this harbor with the railway Corridor 10.
