First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today the State Minister for Environmental Protection and the Secretary General of the Japan-Serbia Parliamentary Group in Lower House of Japan Parliament Minor Kiuji.
It was estimated that Serbia and Japan have a strong interest and commitment to pursue comprehensive and mutually beneficial bilateral co-operation, with the further strengthening of content, multilayer and intensive contacts between representatives of governments and parliaments of the two countries.
Dacic expressed particular satisfaction with the achieved results and the level of cooperation between Serbia and Japan, which gave a strong impetus to the realization of the historic visit of Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe to the Republic of Serbia in January 2018.
He noted the upward trend in the overall relations between the two countries, confirmed the firm commitment of Serbia to further develop cooperation in all areas of common interest, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
