First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today on a farewell visit Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Serbia, Henk van den Dool.
Dacic thanked the Ambassador of the Netherlands for engaging during the mandate in the Republic of Serbia and wished him success in further professional work.
He assessed that bilateral relations between the two countries, primarily in the field of economic cooperation, are good, but that at the same time it is necessary to improve political dialogue.
According to the data of the National Bank of Serbia, by the size of total net investments from the Netherlands in the period from 2010 to 2018, the Kingdom of the Netherlands is in the first place.
Van den Dool also pointed to the need to improve political dialogue, and expressed satisfaction with the current economic positioning of the Netherlands in the Serbian market.
In that light, he announced the inflow of new Dutch investments, which will further contribute to the creation of new jobs, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
