Support of UNCTAD to achieving sustainable development goals in Serbia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today with Deputy Secretary General of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Isabel Duran, who officially opened the 39th regional course for countries in transition in Belgrade.
Dacic expressed his satisfaction with Duran's first visit to Serbia, which is a great opportunity for talks on the possibilities for enhancing cooperation between our country and UNCTAD.
He also referred to the Development Partnership Framework between Serbia and the United Nations for the period from 2016 to 2020, which includes UNCTAD's activities, in the context of its contribution to the efforts of the Serbian government to improve response to the key challenges in the fields of the economy, society and environmental protection.
