Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said today that it is expected that the concession contract for the Nikola Tesla Airport be completed by the end of August and that the concessionaire takes over the management of the Belgrade airport in September.
After meeting with a delegation of the International Business Association "Movement of French Companies" (MEDEF) at the Palace of Serbia, Mihajlovic stressed that this concession is important because it will enable further investments, and not only because of a one-off payment.
The topics discussed at the meeting were the development of Serbian railways, design, construction and signalling, which is one of the priorities for our country.
According to Mihajlovic, the growth of foreign trade between Serbia and France in 10 years is 53 percent.
A representative of the MEDEF delegation Charles Paradis said that this association has been present in Serbia for 25 years, and that the last time the delegation was in Serbia was in 2014.
Now we bring more than 15 companies from the fields of infrastructure, engineering, construction and software, Paradis said and added that new circumstances for cooperation and investments have been created in the last three years thanks to the economic growth of Serbia.
