During the meeting, Dacic stressed that Serbia is proud of the history of our relations and the cooperation that dates back to the period of the former Yugoslavia.
He informed his interlocutor about Serbia's position on Kosovo-Metohija and the negotiations that are being conducted in Brussels, and expressed gratitude for the firm and principled position of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on this issue.
Dacic said that Serbia wants to develop cooperation with the Democratic Republic of the Congo in all areas, in trade exchange, in providing scholarships for students from that country, as well as in cooperation in the field of science and sports.
Omalanga stressed that his country is also interested in economic cooperation with Serbia and that this visit should be a step towards that goal.
He added that he is happy that he visited Serbia and that he is honoured to be in the city where the First Conference of the Countries of the Non-Aligned Movement was held.
