The meeting aims to exchange views on the latest developments in Southeast Europe and their impact on regional cooperation, as well as the adoption of the Joint Declaration on the current challenges in the region.
Considering the importance of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative and the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region, as well as the need for enhanced interaction with the institutions of the European Union, the meeting will be attended by high representatives of the European Commission.
Foreign ministers of Italy, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Slovenia and Montenegro will take part in the meeting in Catania, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
