After the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the municipality of Mali Zvornik and YGS Textile, Ljajic said that it is the duty of the investor to employ 300 workers in the first year of operation and the remaining 200 by the end of 2020.
The Deputy Prime Minister explained that the factory will start its own production at the former factory Gucevo after a complete reconstruction of this facility.
The municipality, as he said, bought the factory Gucevo which will be leased to company YGS Textile at a symbolic price.
He also said that the government of Serbia allocated RSD 75 million from the budget reserve, which it sent to the Mali Zvornik municipality for the reconstruction of this factory, and explained that YGS textile does not receive any subsidies for this investment.
The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that this investment will mean a lot to the Mali Zvornik municipality, which is one of the 19 most underdeveloped municipalities in Serbia, with about 2,000 unemployed.
