Speaking at a joint press conference with Kotzias held after the meeting at the Serbian government, Dacic thanked Greece on the support it gives to Serbia’s territorial integrity and the non-recognition of the unilateral acts of Pristina, i.e. non-recognition of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo.
The First Deputy Prime Minister noted that many Western countries do not want this issue to be on the agenda at all because they believe all was resolved in 2008, with which Serbia will never agree.
We want to keep our friends informed about our positions, that we want compromise, but that we can never accept unilateral acts that are not in accordance with international law, Dacic stated.
Kotzias underlined that Serbia belongs to the European family, because it is a developed state and society, adding that Greece feels responsible for stability in the region and to cooperate with Serbia in this regard.
We have discussed the deepening of cooperation between the two ministries and our joint activities and cooperation in the EU, as well as where we can help each other, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece pointed out.
