First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic wished welcome today to newly-appointed Ambassador of Lebanon to Serbia Nada Al Akl and pointed to the importance of joint engagement in improving the cooperation of the two countries, especially in the field of the economy.

In this regard, Dacic emphasised the importance of strengthening economic cooperation, through increasing the volume of trade, connecting the chambers of commerce of Serbia and Lebanon, and organising economic conferences and forums at that level, where businessmen would establish direct contact.
The two officials also pointed to the potential of cooperation in the field of tourism, with the conclusion that the number of Lebanese tourists visiting Serbia has recorded a significant increase in relation to the previous years.
