Upward trend of overall cooperation with UAE

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today newly-appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Serbia Mubarak Aldhaheri, and expressed certainty that cooperation will continue in all fields.

Dacic expressed satisfaction with the traditionally good bilateral relations and the upward trend in the cooperation of the two countries over the last five years, both on political and economic level.
At the same time, he assessed that there is scope for intensifying bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, defence, energy, construction, as well as for increasing the total commodity exchange, which in 2017 amounted to slightly over €100 million.
Aldhaheri expressed the desire and readiness of his country to build extraordinary bilateral relations with Serbia.
