Dacic,
who recently visited Burundi, told an extraordinary press conference in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that this country withdrew recognition of Kosovo's independence two days ago and that it decided to make this decision known on the tenth anniversary of the unilateral declaration of independence of the southern Serbian province.
He said that Burundi's decision shows how fragile the so-called Kosovo independence is and the falsity of the data that authorities in Pristina present.
The First Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the withdrawal of recognition of Kosovo's independence shows that this issue cannot be solved without agreement with Serbia.
Dacic assessed that the declaration of independence of Kosovo is a failed experiment and violence against Serbia, Serbs and the international legal order.
He noted that despite great support it has from the Western powers, Kosovo is far from being internationally recognised.
Kosovo is not a member of the UN, the OSCE and the Council of Europe - the most important international organisations, he added.
The First Deputy Prime Minister said that Serbia will continue to fight for state and national interests and that the EU common position does not stipulate that Serbia must recognise the independence of Kosovo, adding that it is arrogant, unacceptable and counterproductive to demand that from Serbia.
