On that occasion, Dacic gave recognition to Alfano for the successful organization of yesterday's conference on the fight against anti-Semitism, especially given the growing tendency of relativization and reduction of the crimes committed.
Dacic and Alfano agreed that bilateral relations between the two countries are at a very high level, characterized by intense political dialogue and strategic partnership that can be further developed.
Also, the two officials emphasized the determination to further promote economic cooperation, since Italy is one of Serbia’s leading trading and investment partners.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy confirmed on this occasion the continuity of support to the European integration of Serbia, pointing out that the European Commission's Enlargement Strategy is an important incentive in that direction.
The topics raised during this meeting will be deepened during a forthcoming trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Serbia, Italy and Albania to be held on 27 February in Belgrade, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
