Improvement of police cooperation with Switzerland

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic spoke today with Justice and Police Minister of Switzerland Simonetta Sommaruga about improving cooperation between line ministries of the two countries.
After the meeting, Stefanovic said that the focus is on cooperation in the fight against organised crime and potential terrorism, adding that for this purpose, exchange of experiences, cooperation of professionals and formation of joint teams will have priority in this and the years to come.
He indentified the fight against cyber crime as an important segment of future cooperation, which, as he said, has two segments - a response to the crime that happened, but also preventive work.
Stefanovic said that he also talked with Sommaruga about the possibility of exchanging experts, in order to show the results of the operations to date, but also in order to prepare themselves through preventive work for things that may follow.
