High level of bilateral relations of Serbia, Montenegro

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic assessed today in Podgorica that the bilateral relations of the two countries are at a high level, and they expressed readiness for further improvement of cooperation.

They estimated that there is a wide scope for further improvement of cooperation in the economy, especially in the realization of joint projects in the transport and energy infrastructure, both through the Berlin Process, and through the process of cooperation with the People's Republic of China and other investors.
When it comes to European integration of Serbia and Montenegro, they pointed to the importance of cooperation between the two countries in this area, and expressed expectation that the dynamics of the negotiation process will intensify during the Bulgarian presidency of the EU.
Vujanovic condemned today's murder of leader of the Civic Initiative "Serbia, Democracy, Justice" Oliver Ivanovic and expressed his condolences, adding that he expects that the perpetrators of this crime will be discovered and punished.
