Canada recognises Serbia's commitment to peace in region

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and new Ambassador of Canada to Serbia Kati Csaba expressed mutual satisfaction today over good bilateral relations, which have been improved in recent years.

At the meeting, they noted that the relations of the two countries were improved, both through revitalised political dialogue at a high level, as well as in the field of economy, investment and other areas of cooperation.
The two countries share the commitment to preserve peace and stability in our region, which Canada continuously supports, recognising the strong commitment of the Republic of Serbia to that process.
The officials reiterated their readiness to continue constructive and dynamic political dialogue and further engage in enhancing bilateral cooperation in all areas, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
