Further development of bilateral cooperation with Russia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today with Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin about the upcoming activities and plans for further development of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

According to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides are currently harmonising the date of holding the next session of the Intergovernmental Serbian-Russian Committee for Trade, Economic and Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
The two sides agreed that the upcoming visit of Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov to Belgrade on 21-22 February, as part of marking 180 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Russia, is of great importance for the further deepening of the cooperation between the two countries, reads the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
