Serbia wants open, meaningful dialogue, partner relations with all

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that Serbia has been promoting its vital national interests through wise and balanced policies, primarily to protect its territorial integrity and sovereignty, together with intensive activities in the field of full EU integration.

Dacic expressed satisfaction with the results achieved in Serbia's foreign policy at the New Year's reception, which was prepared for the heads of diplomatic missions and international organisations, directors and editors-in-chief of the media.
We tried to maintain and deepen relations with all our partners and friends, but also with those with whom we do not always share the same opinions, as well as to respond to the numerous challenges we have faced, Dacic pointed out.
He said that open and meaningful dialogue and partnership for us have been and will be the basic means and the only way to solve all open issues.
In that sense, in 2017, not only a high level of political dialogue with the neighbouring countries and states of the region of Southeast Europe has been maintained, but the relations with some of them have been elevated to the highest level in the contemporary period, Dacic underlined.
