Serbia, Israel committed to further strengthening of cooperation, friendship

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that good relations with Israel testify to an increasingly developed political dialogue, more intensive economic cooperation and the presence of Israeli investments in Serbia.

At the opening of the conference "Years of Jubilee", dedicated to celebrating 25 years since the renewal of diplomatic relations with Israel, Dacic pointed to the rich tradition of Serbian-Jewish friendship that resonated with the greatest historical challenges that both nations met.
It is also an opportunity to emphasise a common orientation towards the future and further strengthening of relations and cooperation, mutual understanding and closeness, he pointed out, noting gthat Serbia highly appreciates Israel's principled stand on not recognising Kosovo's unilaterally declared independence, which, without a doubt, positively reflects the quality and content of overall relations.
