Serbia committed to cooperation within CEI

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic participated today in Minsk at the Central European Initiative Summit (CEI), where they talked about infrastructure and energy projects in the countries of this part of Europe.
Stefanovic stressed that the project, such as the modernization of the railway from Belgrade to Budapest, which is important for Serbia, is of great benefit to the countries of Central Europe.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that other topics discussed at the summit were security, a more efficient control of migrants and measures taken by Serbia in this field.
We discussed the measures that Serbia is taking in the fight against terrorism and extremism, especially now that, after the victory of the Allies in Syria and Iraq, one part of the jihadists can be expected to choose Europe as their next destination.
According to Stefanovic, our country in cooperation with other states is working intensively and with dedication on maintaining security.
