First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic opened last night in Buenos Aires in a formal ceremony the Republic Square of Serbia, located in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of the capital of the Republic of Argentina.
The ceremony was attended by First Vice-President of Buenos Aires Carmen Polledo, representatives of the Serbian diaspora in Argentina, Vicar Bishop of the Latin American Diocese Kiril Bojovic, and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Argentina.
In a short speech, Dacic highlighted the importance of the relations and cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Argentina, of friendly relations and a tradition of good relations that adorn the two states and peoples.
The First Deputy Prime Minister said that the opening of the Republic Square of Serbia represents a new inspiration and provides additional incentives for further comprehensive development of the relations between Serbia and Argentina in the future, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
