Improvement of economic cooperation of Serbia, Qatar

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, led by Secretary General of the Ministry Ahmed bin Al Hamadi.

During the talks, the prospects of improving bilateral relations were examined, which will be stimulated by the announced abolition of visas by Qatar for the citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
The Qatari delegation also met today with Secretary General of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Veljko Odalovic.
In addition to topics related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries, economic cooperation between Serbia and Qatar and the possibilities for investing in the Republic of Serbia were particularly examined, as well as the possibility of forming some kind of inter-ministerial bodies for cooperation, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
