The two officials agreed that it is necessary to preserve the memory of the historical friendship between the Serbian and French peoples, which dates back to the First World War, as this is the basis for the further strengthening of bilateral relations.

He expressed the hope that the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Serbia will take place next year.
Senator Cadic emphasized that the goal of his visit to Belgrade is to transfer his strong support to the EU accession process of Serbia, and in this context, he especially pointed out that our country has made significant economic progress and plays a central role in preserving the stability of the entire region.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with Serbia's decision to become a full member of the International Francophonie Organisation, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
