Successful cooperation with IMF in area of infrastructure reforms

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic spoke today with a delegation of the IMF and the World Bank on structural reforms in the railway sector, business environment reforms and priority transport infrastructure projects.
Referring to the successful completion of the three-year programme with the International Monetary Fund, Mihajlovic assessed that this financial institution has helped a lot to our country, and expressed the hope that the joint work will continue, primarily in the area of infrastructure reforms.
Head of the IMF Mission James Roaf, who headed the IMF and World Bank delegation, praised Serbia's reforms, especially in the rail sector, noting that significant progress has been made.
The International Monetary Fund cooperates with serious governments that are committed to reform policies, he underlined, and expressed the hope that this organisation will continue its successful cooperation with Serbia.
