Mihajlovic emphasised that this project is important for Serbia, which is dedicated to regional integration, adding that when it comes to road and rail transport, it is important to be not only to a transit country, but also to connect with the region.
In addition to the infrastructure projects we are successfully implementing, it is important that we work on the removal of non-physical barriers in order to make the transport of goods and trade between the countries from the region of the Western Balkans more efficient, she said.
Representatives of the World Bank, led by head of the office and international financial institution in Serbia, Stephen Ndegwa, stressed that it is important that Serbia has recognised the importance of regional cooperation and networking.
