During the talks, both sides agreed that the bilateral relations of the two countries are good, but that there is room for their further improvement, as well as for the intensification of political dialogue, especially at the high and highest level.
In this context, the parliamentary cooperation was highlighted as very important.
The interlocutors agreed that there is a common interest in further deepening and strengthening of all forms of bilateral cooperation, with the existence of significant potential for further improvement of economic cooperation.
It was noted that Serbia and the United Kingdom, which this year mark 180 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, are linked by historic friendship and alliance from the two world wars.
Dacic expressed his gratitude for the continuous support of the United Kingdom to the European integration of the Republic of Serbia.
The two sides exchanged views on the situation in the Western Balkans and stressed the importance of preserving stability and enhancing regional cooperation, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
