Dacic sends condolences over attack in Las Vegas

Belgrade, 3 October 2017

First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic sent a telegram of condolences to US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on the occasion of an attack in Las Vegas, which killed at least 58 and injured more than 500 persons.

"On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, and on my personal behalf, I wish to express my sincere sympathy to you and the citizens of the United States over the terrible attack in Las Vegas.

This crime, in which the lives of peaceful citizens are lost, is shocking in its cruelty.

Serbia stands with the United States united in shock and sorrow.

Please share the expressions of deep sympathy with the families and friends of the killed and transfer the wishes for the quick recovery to the injured," the telegram of condolence says.
