Continuation of close police cooperation of Serbia, Belarus

Belgrade/Minsk, 22 September 2017

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic talked today with Minister of the Interior of Belarus Igor Shunevich in Minsk about the strengthening of cooperation in the fight against organised crime, terrorism, drug trafficking and high-tech crime.

After the meeting, Stefanovic emphasized that close cooperation will continue through the exchange of experts and direct communication between officials involved in the suppression of these forms of crime.

Our goal is to show that we can take a step further in ensuring the security of the people of Belarus and Serbia, the Deputy Prime Minister stated.

He expressed his gratitude to his colleague and the line ministry of Belarus on the cooperation so far, and at the same time expressed confidence that it will be even more intensive in the future.
