First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met in New York with Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mevlut Cavusoglu and Ivan Crnadak, to discuss economic cooperation.
At the trilateral meeting held on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly, the progress in the field of economy was welcomed and the priority of cooperation in the area of infrastructure and transport in the future period was agreed on.
The officials also discussed cooperation in the field of combating violent extremism and terrorism, as well as solving the problem of illegal migration.
The First Deputy Prime Minister also participated yesterday at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states of the Central European Initiative (CEI), organised by Belarus, the current Chairman of the Initiative.
The ministers discussed closer ties in the wider CEI region, as well as on improving regional cooperation.
