Retno Marsudi and Ivica Dacic
Dacic emphasised the friendly and good bilateral relations of the two countries and stressed that there is room for improvement of cooperation in various fields, especially in the field of economy.
He expressed his gratitude on Indonesia's principled position on Kosovo-Metohija, and informed Marsudi about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
Marsudi agreed that efforts should be made to strengthen economic cooperation, noting that some progress has already been made.
She confirmed that Serbia can count on Indonesia's support regarding Kosovo, adding that she will consider the possibility of visiting Belgrade next year.
In a conversation with Foreign Minister Vatican Paul Richard Gallagher, Dacic said that Serbia wants to strengthen the cooperation with the Vatican, and invited him to visit our country.
During the meeting, the First Deputy Prime Minister pointed to the important role of the Vatican in preserving peace and stability throughout the region.
Gallagher accepted the invitation to visit Serbia and agreed that bilateral relations should be strengthened.
He was also interested in progress in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, voicing concern over the tensions that exist in the region.
The Serbian Foreign Minister also had a brief conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Jorge Arreaza yesterday, during which bilateral relations of the two countries were discussed as well as the need for strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
At the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif, strengthening bilateral political dialogue was discussed and readiness of the two countries was confirmed for the intensification of overall bilateral relations, especially in economy.
