First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic participated in New York in a working breakfast of the ministers of foreign affairs of Western Balkan countries together with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.
In addition to regular topics, the participants in the meeting, organised by the Regional Cooperation Council, discussed a proposal that the headquarters of the Transport Community be in Serbia.
Dacic yesterday held bilateral meetings with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger and with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sao Tome and Principe, and had a brief discussion with
Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop.
Dacic and Bishop discussed her recent visit to Serbia which took place in July.
They highlighted the importance of the further improvement of political dialogue at all levels, as well as the importance of fostering traditionally good and friendly relations and developing cooperation in the areas of common interest.
