New infrastructure projects aided by World Bank

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic talked with representatives of the World Bank on infrastructure projects involving this financial institution and continuation of reforms in the field of roads and railways.
Mihajlovic has initiated talks on new projects, primarily on the renewal of regional infrastructure that is of great importance to us.
The meeting, she explained, also focused on the possibilities of lending to reconstruction of regional roads in the amount of €30 million and the restoration of regional railroads worth €50 million, with the remark that these are the initial talks on these loans.
Representatives of the World Bank expressed their willingness to continue participating in the infrastructure projects that will be carried out in Serbia.
