First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Ambassador Lamberto Zannier.

Dacic congratulated Zannier on his election to this position, and stressed that the institution of the OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities is of great importance to the Republic of Serbia.
The officials discussed the position of national minorities in Serbia and the Serbian minority in the region, and the interlocutors expressed a common expectation that Serbia's cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner would be mutually beneficial, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
