Strengthening cooperation of police of Serbia, Slovenia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic and Slovenian Minister of the Interior Vesna Gyorkos-Znidar talked today at Brdo pri Kranju about continuation of cooperation through joint projects.
They also spoke about the continuing support of Slovenia to Serbia in the process of European integration, especially in the area of Chapter 24 - Justice, Freedom, Security.
It is important to continue cooperation that will lead to the improvement of work of police officers and raising their effectiveness in combating organised crime, but also all other forms of crime that endanger citizens' security, he stressed.
Stefanovic also met today at Brdo pri Kranju with Director of the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) Thomas Guerber.
