The two officials spoke about the continuation of training and exchange of experience of police officers from the two countries, and it was proposed that this cooperation be intensified, especially in the field of training of specialised units for the fight against illegal drug trafficking.
Stefanovic said that many important issues were discussed, primarily in the field of the fight against terrorism, but also organised crime, because only by working together can we deal with these challenges.
One of the topics of the meeting was also the issue of security and measures that the Russian Federation is taking in order to secure the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which will be held next year in that country, as well as the possibility of sending Serbian police officers to secure that event.
