First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with the delegation of the Indonesian Parliament led by Asiri Hamzah, Vice-President of the Commission of the Parliament, responsible for foreign policy, security and information issues.

The officials expressed mutual satisfaction with the good relations between Serbia and Indonesia, as well as the readiness for their further comprehensive improvement.
On our part, we emphasised appreciation to Indonesia for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
Also, it was concluded that there are significant potentials for improving the economic cooperation of the two countries, and officials expressed satisfaction with the past successful Indonesian investments in Serbia (Indofud factory and Etir company), with the expectation of new companies from that country in our market.
Dacic expressed his gratitude for the positive attitude of Indonesia regarding Serbia's interest in joining the Peace and Cooperation Agreement in South East Asia with ASEAN, an organisation in which it plays a significant role and which has just marked a significant jubilee, that is, the 50th anniversary since its founding.
The delegation of the Parliament of Indonesia is in Serbia at the invitation of National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic.
