Improving bilateral relations with Palestine

Belgrade, 9 August 2017

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today with Ambassador of Palestine in Serbia Muhammad Nabhan on the bilateral relations of the two countries, as well as on the continuation of high-level visits.

Dacic and Nabhan also discussed the opening of the Serbian embassy in Ramallah and the holding of political consultations between the two foreign ministries.

Also, the contractual regulation was considered, while the need for its extension was noted. Particular emphasis during the talks was given to cooperation within the programme "World in Serbia". Nabhan informed Dacic about the latest developments in the region and the activities undertaken to calm the situation in Jerusalem and the continuation of the peace process.
