Development of Belgrade airport government’s strategic goal

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic talked today with President and Director of the international airport "Incheon" in South Korea Joung Chung Il-young on good practice in the development of that airport that is also applicable at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade.
Mihajlovic said that the strategic goal of the Serbian government is that the Belgrade airport develops in the coming years, and to become the fastest growing and most developed in the region.
Therefore, the Serbian government called for a public call for a concessionaire, and this process is in progress, she said.
She said that the deadline for submission of binding bids expires in October , when an expert committee will select the concessionaire that is expected to continue and increase investments in the development of the Belgrade airport, and thus achieve the set targets.
