Airport "Nikola Tesla" meets highest EU standards

Belgrade, 28 July 2017

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic today attended the presentation of the certificate of achieving the highest safety standards to Belgrade "Nikola Tesla".

With the certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Directorate, this airport is ranked among more than 25% of airports in EU member states that have so far complied with the standards prescribed by the European Commission Regulation.

Mihajlovic stressed that she is proud of the fact that our air transport is part of the EU and that the Belgrade airport has met all the standards that are required of all European airports - from the technical characteristics, qualifications of staff and all the services.
